Elimaea (Rhaebelimaea) c.f. puncticosta Bolívar, 1914 or bakeri Hebard, 1922
(Tettigonioidea: Phaneropteridae: Phaneropterinae)
Material examined. 1 female (Siargao18_19), Barangay Katipunan, Del Carmen, N9.87594, E126.00983, 28.5± 5.6 m, 7 April 2018, 2041 hours.
Nearly impossible to identify the species based on a single female specimen in this speciose genus. We tentatively identified our specimen to either E. (R.) puncticosta or bakeri, both of which occur in Leyte and Mindanao areas (Ingrisch, 1998a). There is an image of E. (R.) puncticosta collected from Siargao in OSF (Cigliano et al., 2019), although strangely, this species was also recorded in Himalaya (with specimen lost). Type specimen is also apparently missing (Cigliano et al., 2019). The female was not known for E. (R.) bakeri so we could not confirm the species name of our specimen.
