Diagnosis. The species is often confused with L. impressa, L. calra (Walker, 1865) and L. chrysoscela due to similar wing patterns, but can be easily separated from them by forewings with three silvery white, parallel oblique bands; valvae broad at basal half, divided into two wide lobes at distal half; aedeagus with four digitate projections, among which one is densely covered with short spines.

Remarks. The female genitalia of this species are illustrated here for the first time. The anterior apophysis is slightly longer than the posterior apophysis, the ostium is larger, the ductus broad and short, and the bursa with a semioval signum.
