Diagnosis

Eye in lateral view 1.2 × as wide as maximum width of temple (Fig. 62C) and eye in dorsal view strongly protruding (Fig. 62A); mesosoma conspicuously orange-brown (Fig. 62H–I) and contrasting with the black head; metasomal carapace medially black and laterally orange-brown (Fig. 62J); hind coxa pale yellow (Fig. 62F).

Remarks

The holotype from China (Guangdong, Ding-Hu Mts) was not examined and the interpretation here is based on the original description and the additional Chinese specimens listed above. There are 21 females agreeing with the description of P. sinensis except for the body length (5.0–6.0 mm vs 5.9–6.2 mm for the types) and the colouration of the mesonotum (one female black vs orange-brown for the types).
