Diagnosis

Second submarginal cell strongly petiolate, at least 0.5 × as long as vein r (Fig. 12G); hind femur robust, 3.0 × as long as wide (Fig. 12F); OOL 3.1× as long as OD (Fig. 12A); lamella of third metasomal tergite distinctly protruding medio-apically (Fig. 12K); mesopleuron regularly reticulate and with smooth and shiny area posteriorly (Fig. 12I); antenna of female widened medially and 15 th –23 rd segments as long as wide (Fig. 12D), its subapical segments moniliform (Fig. 12E).

Remarks

The holotype from Vietnam (Saigon) was examined by Zettel (1989) and our interpretation is based on the description by Zettel (1989), additional Chinese specimens listed above and the original description. The seven females examined agree with the description of P. barbieri except for body length (2.2– 3.1 mm vs 2.1–2.4 mm for the types) and the antennal segment number (35 and 32 vs 31 for the types). The two males examined agree with the description of P. barbieri .
