Material examined. 1♂, CHINA: Yunshan National Forest Park (26°40’N, 110°37’E), Wugang City, Hunan Province, 5 June 2011, leg. Xiang-Sheng Chen (holotype); 8♂♂ 7♀♀, same data as holotype (paratypes) .

Host plant. Bamboo ( Poaceae, Bambuseae).

Distribution. China (Hunan).

Remarks. This species can be distinguished from the other species of the genus by the following characters: aedeagus with five processes in total: right apex of periandrium with a long sinuous spinous process; basal 1/3 of ventral margin with two short spinous processes; apical 1/3 of ventral margin with a curved spinous process; the left dorsal margin of endosoma with a long spinous process, and apex ventrocephalically directed.
