Distribution.

China (Hebei, Sichuan, Gansu), Japan, Korea.

Host plants.

Corylus heterophylla, C. sieboldiana var. mandshurica, Alnus cremastogyne in China; but, in Japan, Alnus matsumurae, Corylus heterophylla var. thunbergii (Shinji 1935); C. sieboldiana, C. sieboldiana var. mandshurica (Higuchi 1972), also recorded from Ostrya japonica and Carpinus sp. (Quednau 2003), and Betula spp. (Holman 2009).

Biology.

Pale green in life; scattered on the underside of leaves of host plants.
