- Similar to C. botrys (23) and to C. cristatum, C. melanocarpum and C. pumilio (see below). Aromatic, pubescent and glandular, branched from the base; leaves ovate, lobed to coarsely serrate, 5-30 mm; flowers in dense axillary clusters; perianth lobes persistent, thickened and enlarged in fruit, coriaceous, white, distinctly keeled, apex truncate, keel pubescent; seed horizontal, 0.5 mm.
