Peristerophila Kethley, 1970: 53 . Type-species: Peristerophila columbae Hirst, 1920, by original designation.

Terathopius ecaudatus (type host) ( Accipitriformes: Accipitridae), type-locality: AFRICA (Skoracki et al. 2010d); Accipiter nisus (Accipitridae), KAZAKHSTAN, Ongtustik Qazaqstan, Chockpak Ornithological, (ZISP, AMU) (Skoracki & Bochkov 2010).
