Odontoperla spinosa (Theischinger), n. comb.

Holotype: Queensland: 1 x adult male: Iron Range, Mount Tozer (300 m) . Collected: 30-Jun-1973. Collector: SRM. Deposited in the Australian National Insect Collection (ANIC).
Adult. Described by Theischinger (1982) as D. spinosa . This species distinguished from O. schneiderae by the epiproct with a more pronounced (longer and thinner) and arched endhook and the subterminal lateral indentation of the paraprocts.
Larva. Unknown
Remarks. This new combination is established based on the similarities in morphology of the adult male, especially the dorsal dentition on the epiproct.
