Material examined. Burundi: 1♂, Bururi Prov., Res. Nat. de Kigwena, 4.09915°S, 29.50013°E, 810 m, 17– 20.XI.2010, A.H. Kirk-Spriggs / malaise trap, Circumguinean forest (BMSA) .

Notes. This widespread Afrotropical species was recorded from Burundi (Grichanov, 1999a). The new material examined belongs to Medetera normalis group of species, but may represent an undescribed species.
