Plusiocampa kashiensis (Chou & Tong, 1980) comb. nov.
Cestocampa kashiensis Chou & Tong, 1980: 158 .
This endogean species described from Kashi, Xinjiang Province, China, shows some features that differ from the other species of Cestocampa: clothing setae short and numerous; low number of notal macrochaetae (4+4 and 3+3 on meso- and metanotum vs. 6+6 and 6+ 6 in C. italica and 7+7 and 6+ 6 in other Cestocampa spp.; urosternite VIII with 1+1 macrochaetae vs 2+ 2 in other Cestocampa spp. and in all species of Plusiocampinae sensu Paclt, 1957 (with the exception of Plusiocampa sinensis Silvestri, 1931), and without la macrochaetae on urotergites. Chou & Tong (1980, fig. 2.14) drew a narrow claw without crests, but with a telotarsal process with sternal barbs. Based on these features, we transfer P. kashiensis to Plusiocampa .
