Host-plants. Rosa spp. (incl. R. canina L., R. pendulina L., R. pimpinellifolia L.), Sanguisorba spp. (incl. S. officinalis L., S. minor Scop.), Potentilla caulescens L.

Distribution. Palaearctic. Widespread in Europe; also known from the Canary Islands. In Asia recorded in Kazakhstan and the Russian Far East (Primorskiy Kray).
