10. Celmisia bonplandii (Buchanan) Allan (1961: 624) .

Basionym:— Erigeron bonplandii Buchanan (1887: 213) .

Type:— NEW ZEALAND. South Island, Bold Peak, 4500’, 25 Dec 1927, H.H. Allan s.n. (neotype CHR 6301! designated by Allan 1961: 625) .

Notes:— Allan (1961) designated a neotype because the type was apparently lost. I could not find the type material either.

The original type locality of Erigeron bonplandii was Mt. Bonpland in the Humboldt Mts, the same mountain range as the neotype’s provenance.
