Material examined. EGYPT: 1♂, 3♀, Kom Oshim (Fayoum) [29? 30′ 22″N; 30? 54′ 50″E], 21.x.2010; 1♂, Kom Oshim, 4.xi.2010, leg. Gadallah & Edmardash (CUE). ISRAEL: 1♀ (holotype), Palestine (Bat Yam), 9.vi.1919, leg. Bytinski-Salz, UCRC_ENT 334451 (NMPC); 1♂ (allotype), Palestine, 6.ix.1948, leg. Bytinski-Salz, UCRC_ENT 334453 (NMPC).
Distribution. Israel (Bouček 1956), Egypt (new record).
Hosts. Collected very close to the nest of Cataglyphis bicolor (Fabricius) ( Formicidae: Formicinae) around the roots of the field binweed, Convolvulus arvensis L. ( Convolvulaceae). We suspect this to be the host because Eucharis (Eucharisca) bedeli Cameron was reared from C. bicolor (Bedel 1895) .
