Type host. Prionotus nudigula Ginsburf 1950 ( Scorpaeniformes: Triglidae). Site of infection. Inner side of operculum.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Coastal area of Mar del Plata (38°08’S- 57°32’W). Holotype. ♀, MLP-Cr 25809, 2004-05. Collector: Lanfranchi, A . Allotype. ♂, MLP-Cr 25810, same locality, host, date and collector as the type Paratypes. 3♀♀, MLP-Cr 25811, same locality, host, date and collector as type. Current status. Valid species.
