Medetera bisecta Negrobov, 1967
Distribution. Russia.
Status in CZ. Previously recorded from both Bohemia and Moravia: České Budějovice (Gelbič & Olejníček 2011), Pálava (Olejníček 1998), and Zadní Hamry (Olejníček et al. 2005). However, the specimens from Pálava (Kotel, 30.v.1995, J. Vaňhara lgt., NMPC) and Zadní Hamry (26.vi.–31.vii.2002, M. Barták & Š. Kubík lgt., NMPC) were misidentified and belong to M. glaucella Kowarz, 1877 and M. belgica, respectively. The specimens from České Budějovice were not available for study and are probably lost. Additional specimens deposited in the Olejníček collection were found to be misidentified as well. Consequently, M. bisecta must be removed from the Czech checklist.
