Rabí (6747) castle ruins env., 49°16′42″N 13°37′06″E, 500–520 m, limestone rocks, 26.v.2022, 6 ♁♁ 3 ♀♀ (MCH, MAPC) .

Distribution. Widespread in Europe (except British Isles and Scandinavia), and ranging eastwards as far as Ukraine and the western part of Russia.

Status in CZ. Previously recorded from both Bohemia and Moravia: Vráž (Naglis et al. 2016b), Lednice (Vaňhara 1981) and Podyjí (Havraníky) (Olejníček et al. 2005). There are two correctly identified male specimens from Havraníky (1.5 km SW, 27.v.–7.vii.2001, M. Barták & Š. Kubík lgt.) deposited in NMPC. The above listed specimen from Pálava (Perná) was erroneously identified as M. bisecta and recorded as such by Olejníček (1998).

Ecology. On rocks or rocky outcrops, in relatively open and mostly drier biotopes.
