Distribution. Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Norway, Russia (northern, including Siberia), Sweden and Switzerland.

Status in CZ. Previously recorded only from Šumava and Krkonoše Mts in Bohemia (Hulcr et al. 2005, Naglis et al. 2016a). The first record from Moravia is given herein.

Ecology. Largely unknown, but possibly restricted to higher altitudes, oligotrophic biotopes and preferring coniferous trees.
