Holotachysphex prosopigastroides (Gussakovskij, 1952)

Haplognatha prosopigastroides Gussakovskij, 1952:249 . Holotype: female Tajikistan: foothills of Hissar Mts. near Stalinabad, now Dushanbe (ZIN, lost?).

Remarks. Pulawski (1992) could not find the type specimen in St. Petersburg collection, and there is no additional or newly collected material of the species. Pulawski (1992) treats it as an unrecognizable species, which might be a synonym of another species. The species is well characterized by having a spine-like projection on the clypeal free margin, which is larger than in other species. For figures and a more detailed description see Pulawski (1992).
