Diagnosis. Males of G. guayaquilensis differ from others species by the reduced and narrow tegular process (Fig. 13A–B) and by the blunt and dorsally projected patellar apophysis (Fig. 13B–D) in the male palp. Female differs by the epigynum with posterior border straight (Fig. 13E), thin spermathecae when compared to the copulatory ducts (Fig. 13F), and vertical spermathecae short, with half of the height of the copulatory ducts (Fig. 13F).

Description. Male (Holotype, FMS 25791/1). Coloration: carapace, labium, endites and sternum yellowish brown; chelicerae reddish brown; legs I–III with femora brown; leg IV brown from femur to metatarsus; other leg segments yellowish brown. Total length: 3.38. Carapace: length 1.88, width 1.34, height 0.86. Opisthosoma: length 1.50, width 1.00. Clypeus: height 0.07. Eye diameters and interdistances: AME 0.05; ALE 0.09; PME 0.07; PLE 0.07; AME–AME 0.08; AME–ALE 0.17; ALE–PLE 0.05; PLE–PME 0.15; PME–PME 0.12; PME–AME 0.09. Paturon: 0.98 long. Leg measurements: I: femur 1.75/ patella 0.55/ tibia 1.65/ metatarsus 1.48/ tarsus 0.8/ 6.23; II: 1.59/ 0.62/ 1.5/ 1.38/ 0.75/ 5.84; III: 1.5/ 0.5/ missing/ missing/ missing; IV: 1.8/ 0.58/ 1.74/ 1.23/ 0.65/ 6.0. Leg formula: 1423. Palp with patellar apophysis with same thickness along its entire length (Fig. 13C). Retrolateral side of the tibia strongly rounded and projected (Fig. 13D). Tegular process small, not reaching the edge of the tegulum (Fig. 13B).

Female (CAS 9025939). Coloration: carapace brown with cephalic area slightly darker; chelicerae, endites, labium brown, slightly darker than carapace; femora brown and other leg segments yellowish brown. Opisthosoma grayish brown. Total length: 3.80. Carapace: length 1.52, width 1.09, height 0.5. Opisthosoma: length 2.23, width 1.44. Clypeus: height 0.14. Eye diameters and interdistances: AME 0.06; ALE 0.08; PME 0.09; PLE 0.09; AME– AME 0.09; AME–ALE 0.06; PME–PME 0.08; PME–PLE 0.09; AME–PME 0.06; ALE–PLE 0.04. Paturon: 0.89 long. Leg measurements: I: femur 1.3/ patella 0.60/ tibia 1.13/ metatarsus 0.97/ tarsus 0.49/ total 4.49; II: 1.17/ 0.50/ 0.92/ 0.79/ 0.44/ 3.82; III: 1.06/ 0.46/ 0.69/ 0.74/ 0.35/ 3.3; IV: 1.35/ 0.48/ 1.1/ 0.86/ 0.44/ 4.23. Leg formula 1423. Leg spination: Femur I p1ap; Metatarsus I v1map, p1ap, r1ap; III v2ap, r1ap, p1ap; IV v1map, r1ap, p1ap. Metatarsus with more setae than other leg segments. Epigynum with posterior edge of the median field straight (Fig. 13E); copulatory ducts visible at the copulatory opening (Fig. 13E). Apex of the copulatory ducts dorsally projected, base enlarged (Fig. 13F). Horizontal and vertical spermathecae slim (Fig. 13F).

Variation. Length (2♂): total 3.35–3.38; carapace 1.87–1.88; femur I 1.75–1.76; (10♀): total 3.9–5.6; carapace 1.55–2.48; femur I 1.03–1.45.
