Macrostelini

Remarks. This tribe was reviewed by Knight & Webb (1993). In addition to the species described below, three other species were recorded from Pakistan by Pruthi, i.e. indica Pruthi, ocellatus Pruthi and sanguinescens (Kirkaldy). The first of these is a synonym of incisa, the second of saltuella and the third of rubrostriata . As we cannot be certain of Pruthi’s identification of saltuella we have not included this species here or in the checklist although being a cosmopolitan species it should be present.
