Notes: During a study of the type material in BMNH (London), it was found that Deuterocopus deltoptilus Meyrick, 1930 is the junior synonym of Deuterocopus socotranus Rebel, 1907 and Deuterocopus henrioti Bigot & Boireau, 2006 (which was synonymized with Deuterocopus deltoptilus Meyrick, 1930 (Gielis 2011)) and is, likewise, a synonym of Deuterocopus socotranus . New for Malawi.
