Diagnosis. Juga with five pegs, anterior half of pronotum elevated; ventral margin of prosternal carina distinctly concave mesially, and elevated apically. Body length 2.81 ± 0.06 mm.
Description. Head: Anterior half without punctures; tylus with four robust spines on its apex, slightly longer than juga. Pronotum with anterior margin concave, anterior half elevated and with dense punctures. Propleura shiny and smooth; prosternal carina raised, concave mesially and anterior half elevated. Mesopleura with evaporatorium expanded to the posterior and lateral margins of pleura. Peritreme elongate and slightly bent; posterior margin of evaporatorium serrate with long setae. Scutellum. Triangular, wider than long, apex acute, disc dark brown and densely punctured. Hemelytra. With numerous punctures uniformly distributed; clavus with three rows of punctures, apical margin bisinuate; hemelytral membrane hyaline and slightly surpassing apex of abdomen. Abdomen. Ventrally convex, dark brown, with numerous long setae in lateral view. Legs. Fore tibiae with seven spines on ventral margin; fore femora with a bifid spine; ventral and dorsal margins of hind femora serrate, with a small tubercle on dorsal margin and a small, simple spine near apex on ventral margin.
Female genitalia. Spermatheca with receptacle completely spherical, as in figure 9b.
New records. Mexico, Chiapas, 8 km SE Salto de Agua, 17° 30' 54" N, 92° 17' 43" W, 70 m, 14-VI-2008, wet forest, cols. YMRA, MDEM, DJC, JM, JLC, 56 ♂, 24 ♀ (CNIN, ECOSUR, IEXA).
