Distribution. China (Fujian, Hunan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guizhou, Shaanxi), Nepal, Micronesia, Malaysia, Caroline Islands.

Host: Black bean.

Remarks. This species can be distinguished by the following features: pronotum with three pale green longitudinal bands; aedeagal base expanded, shaft strongly curved at nearly right angle at midlength; female pregenital sternite (7th abdominal segment) with apex arcuately emarginate medially and ovipositor not exceeding pygophore.
