DISTRIBUTION: Malaysia to the Philippines, Timor (Indonesia), and adjacent small islands.

SYNONYMS: atrox, erigens, javanicus, major .

COMMENTS: Includes erigens; see Hill (1963b:27). Does not include pomona, gentilis, or macrobullatus; see Hill et al. (1986).
