TYPE LOCALITY: Guinea, Tahiré (foot of Kelesi Plateau) .

DISTRIBUTION: Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia.

COMMENTS: Originally described as a subspecies of R. landeri, but see Böhme and Hutterer (1979) who demonstrated that it was a separate species.
