DISTRIBUTION: Afghanistan, Pakistan, India (including Nicobar Isis), Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma, S China, Thailand, Vietnam.

SYNONYMS: afghanus, blythii, coromandelicus, micropus, parvipes, portensis, tramatus.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Pipistrellus . Does not include aladdin; see Corbet (1978c:53). See comment under P. pipistrellus .
