Subgenus Cornexcisia Fan & Kano

Cornexcisia Fan & Kano, 2000: 251 . Type species: Cornexcisia longicornuta Fan & Kano, 2000, by original designation. Stat. nov. (as valid subgenus).

Fanzideia Xue, Verves & Du, 2011: 311 . Type species: Fanzideia cygnocerca Xue, Verves & Du, 2011, by original designation and monotypy. Syn. nov.

Diagnosis. Female postpedicel about 6 times as long as pedicel; male terminalia [not known for the type species] with distiphallus as wide as long; juxta broad, elongate, much longer than phallic tube, with short lateral arms covered in microtrichia; ventral processes absent; lateral styli elongate, bifurcated from the base, almost equal to length of juxta, with each branch gently curved and slightly expanded at apex.

Composition. Sarcophaga (Cornexcisia) cygnocerca (Xue, Verves & Du, 2011); S. (C.) kurahashii (Shinonaga & Tumrasvin, 1979); S. (C.) longicornuta (Fan & Kano, 2000) and S. (C.) suthep Pape & Bänziger, 2003 .

Distribution. Oriental: China (Hainan, Yunnan), Thailand, Vietnam.
