Distribution. Pakistan.
Remarks. This species is similar to Stirellus convexus Thomson but differs in having the male pygofer side with macrosetae present dorsally, the shape of the style and in having the aedeagal shaft with a slight expansion dorsally. This species is also similar to Stirellus multipunctatus Duan, Webb & Zhang but can readily be distinguished by the medially interrupted orange-red or brownish red stripes on the head, and by the shape of the pygofer and aedeagus.
