Type host: Glareola cinerea Fraser ( Charadriiformes: Glareolidae) from Democratic Republic of Congo.

Diagnosis. Palp tarsus with 3 setae (2 setae Na-type and 1 Db-type) and solenidion; palp tibia without setae. Hypostomal setae n Na-type, m Db-type. Sensillae si SC-type, other dorsal and ventral setae (including coxae) Dbtype, except setae g3 Na-type. Agenital series with 3 pairs of setae. Coxa IV with 1 seta; femur I with 4 setae, femur II with 3 setae.

Hosts and distribution. Charadriiformes (Glareolidae): GlareOla cinerea Fraser from Democratic Republic of Congo [Maniema Prov., Kasongo] (Fain 1961b) and G. nuchalis Gray from Democratic Republic of Congo [Bandundu Prov., Oshwe] (Fain 1964b).
