Group 3: Dichotomius (Cephagonus) quadraticeps (Felsche) species-group
Diagnosis. species of this group are recognised among selenocopris by the combination of the following characters: males clypeo-genal angulation straight or sub straight and/or expanded folded upward and/or acuteı producing a teeth; genae border straight or slightly curved inward; at least the 1st elytral interstriae convex (as on D. spadiceus group); pronotal lateral borders smooth and females sixth ventrite three to four times larger than fifth ventrite and bearing a weak sinuosity or pair of tubercles on the midportion (Figure 9 (e-g)).
