Holotype: TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO: Arima: William Beebe Tropical Research Station, 10.68361 ° N 61.28333 ° W, 21 Jul 1961, Emsley, M. G., light trap, 1Ƌ (AMNH) .

Discussion. Type specimens for this species were deposited in glycerin vials, which have dried out and made it impossible to remove the specimen without destroying it.
