Bipalium kewense Moseley, 1878

Before the above-mentioned record of autochthonous Microplaninae in Sardinia only the occurrence of the allochthonous cosmopolitan land planarian species Bipalium kewense had been reported (Bello et al., 1995). Unfortunately, the precise Sardinian sampling locality of this species is unknown.
