Teucrium laxmannii Linnaeus, Systema Vegetabilium, ed. 13: 439. 1774.
"Habitat in Sibiria. D. Laxman." RCN: 4131.
Neotype (Navarro in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 521. 2001): Moldova. Khotin district, Lipkany, Plants of Bessarabia 1898, Keichel s.n. (LE).
Current name: Ajuga laxmannii (L.) Benth. ( Lamiaceae).
Note: Linnaeus evidently described this name based on Laxman material that is no longer extant, and Navarro therefore designated a neotype.
