Generitype of Tanacetum Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 180. 1929).

Current name: Tanacetum vulgare L. var. vulgare ( Asteraceae).

Note: Although Dillon (in Fieldiana, Bot., n.s., 7: 20. 1981) stated that an unspecified and unseen holotype was in BM, he gave no indication of what collection it might be.
