Lectotype (Navarro & El Oualidi in Acta Bot. Malac. 22: 192. 1997): Herb. Linn. No. 722.24 (LINN) .

Current name: Teucrium scordium L. ( Lamiaceae).

Note: Hedge & Lamond (in Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 28: 146. 1968) indicated unspecified material at LINN as type but did not distinguish between sheets 722.24 and 722.25 (which are evidently not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply).
