Diagnostic characters. Body length 11.5‒14.9 mm; dorsal surface metallic coppery or coppery-green. Pronotum sub-cordiform, PW / PL = 1.24‒1.33, anterior margin a little wider than posterior margin; basal fovea distinctly punctate, sporadic fine punctures present on area between basal foveae; lateral margins evidently sinuate before posterior angles; posterior angles evident, nearly rectangular, usually without prominent denticle. Elytra relatively short, EL/EW = 1.43‒1.46; elytral striae deep, impunctate. Median lobe of aedeagus quite thick and stout, MW / ML = 0.23–0.27; in lateral view, basal portion strongly expanded, the apical lamella a little thickened; in dorsal view, the apical lamella distinctly longer than maximum width,L/W = 1.45‒1.60, hardly bent rightward, left margin distinctly sinuate, apex rounded; endophallic piece present on ventral surface of apical orifice, very wide and heavily sclerotized, partly visible in dorsal and lateral views.
Distribution. This species is relatively widely distributed in Qinling mountains, from southern Shaanxi to western Henan. It is firstly recorded from Henan Province.
