General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.
Distribution in the DR. Widespread throughout the country, but local and uncommon (Fig 2. A).
Habitat. Elevation 10–2000 m asl. A species that flies in the same areas as the previous species, at low and medium elevations, but exceptionally reaches 2000 m.
Host plants. Its larval and host plant stages are unknown, although it is probably Rubiaceae feeder.
