Perigonia desotoi Haxaire, 2016 (Fig 7. C)

General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.

Distribution in the DR. Known only from one locality in the Cordillera Central (Fig 2. B).

Habitat. The species flies in the lush, cool, high-rainfall forests at high elevations in the Cordillera Central (Fig 9. G).

Host plants. Its larval and host plant stages are unknown, although it also probably feeds on Rubiaceae .
