Aellopos blaini Herrich-Schäffer, 1869 (Fig 6. A, C)

General distribution. Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola and Puerto Rico.

Distribution in the DR. Known only from two specimens from Barahona and Pedernales (Fig 2. C).

Habitat. It is probably a species of semi-desert dry environments, although it is difficult to generalize as only two specimens are known from the island.

Host plants. Larval stages and host plants unknown.
