Aola bindusara, Boulard, 2003e: 172, 179, 181, 183, exists well within the Province north of Chiang Mai.
Material examined: UMRM – Mae Hong Son Prov., Namtok Mae Surin NP, Mae Nam Pai, 19o 21’N 97o 59’E, 310 m; Chiang Rai Prov., Amphur Me Soi, Ban Mae Ta Chang. NSCU – Siam, Muok-Lek 1000’.
Distribution: India, Burma, Laos, Indochina, China (Metcalf, 1963a; Chou et al., 1997), and Thailand.
