Genus Calodia Nielson
Calodia Nielson 1982: 140 . Type species: Calodia multipectinata Nielson, by original designation.
Diagnosis. General habitus similar to Olidiana . Pygofer setose, more or less triangular, about twice as long as its height in lateral view, rarely with caudodorsal and caudoventral processes. Subgenital plates glabrous or setose, rarely with apical spines. Style broad, apophysis short to moderately long. Connective Y-shaped with stem short, often round in outline, arms dome shaped. Aedeagus asymmetrical, long, tubular, with two distinct subapical processes attached separately to shaft, either glabrous or with accessory spines or setae on lateral margin.
Thirteen species of the genus are known from the Indian subcontinent including 6 new species described here.
