Isoctenus areia Polotow & Brecovit, 2009

New records. This species was hitherto known only from its type locality in Areia, state of Paraíba (Polotow & Brescovit 2009). Its distribution is expanded to the surrounding areas of Mamanguape, state of Paraíba, and Igarassu, state of Pernambuco (Fig. 7). The type-locality is a Brejo de Altitude forest, a montane humid forest surrounded by semiarid, lowland Caatinga. With the new records, the known species range expands to the typical coastal forest, probably in a disjunct and well-known distribution pattern in the northern Atlantic Rain Forest .
