Andricus quercicola Shinji, 1940a: 259, ♂ ♀.

Distribution. Japan (Honshu) (Shinji 1940a: 259; Shinji 1944: 120 (photo 220); Sakagami 1952: 76; Monzen 1953: 19).

Remarks. Uncertain status (Abe et al. 2007). The types are lost and the original description does not allow confident identification to Andricus or any other genus.

Biology. Induces integral leaf galls on Q. dentata and Q. serrata (sect. Quercus) (Monzen 1953).
