Distribution: Iran, Central Asia, Nepal.

Comments: Following Tanasevitch (2009b: 401), the easternmost distribution region of M. nebulosus (Sundevall, 1830) is in northwestern Iran, and M. nebulosoides is the species distributed further to the east.
