Belisana erromena sp. nov.

Type material. Holotype male, China: Yunnan Province, Huize County (26°25'N, 103°16'E), Jinzhongshan Park, 25 July 2004, Zizhong Yang leg.; paratypes: 6Ƥ,13, same data as holotype.
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Greek word “ erromena ”, meaning brawny, and refers to the shape of the male palp.
Diagnosis. The new species is somewhat similar to B. banlakwo Huber, 2005, but can be distinguished by the shapes of the marks on the male carapace, the procursus (Figs 7 D–E) and the position and distance between the female epigynal pocket (Figs 7 F–G).
Description. Male (holotype). Total length 2.00 (2.25 with clypeus), carapace length 0.83, width 0.72. Leg I: 7.25 (1.84 + 0.26 + 2.00 + 2.20 + 0.95), tibia II: 1.21, tibia III: 0.83, tibia IV: 1.42; tibia I L/d: 20. Habitus as in Fig. 7 A, carapace pale brown, with brown marks medially connecting to ocular area; abdomen ochre-grey, without marks. Ocular area not elevated, thoracic furrow absent. Clypeus unmodified. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.57/0.47). Chelicerae as in Fig. 7 B, with pair of proximal small rounded projections laterally, and distally a pair of curved apophyses. Retrolateral trichobothrium of tibia I at 45%; legs brown without spines and curved hairs, with vertical hairs proximally on all metatarsi; tarsus I with 10 pseudosegments, quite distinct distally. Palps as in Figs 7 C–E, trochanter with short retrolateral apophysis; femur with distinct hump proximo-dorsally; procursus complicated distally, with brush-shaped processes and absent dorsal spine; bulb with broad hooked apophysis and embolus with transparent spine (Fig. 7 D).
Female: In general similar to male. Tibia I in 6 females: 1.74–2.04 (mean 1.88). Epigynum simple externally, with pair of pockets medially (Fig. 7 F). Dorsal view as in Fig. 7 G, with pair of triangular pore plates.
Variation. Body length in the other males: 2.12. Tibia I in the other males: 2.05.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
