Comments. The description of the species was based on a single male found at Umas, near Tawau. It is unique within the Bornean congeners in having parameres abruptly narrowed and a short flagellum in combination. These characters are shared with B. pseudoincisa Löbl, 1984 and B. manasensis Löbl, 1984 from India and B. jeani Löbl, 2012 from Palawan.
