Baeocera macrops group

This group was proposed for two Asian species, B. macrops Löbl, 1973 and B. tamil Löbl, 1979, and comprises only three Asian species. They share asymmetrical aedeagi with a large basal bulb and complex internal sac with the members of the B. monstrosa group (see Löbl 1979). The members of the B. macrops group may be distinguished by narrow parameres, narrow bifurcate apex of the median lobe, and the internal sacs bearing rows of denticles and lacking large sclerotized pieces.
