Manota pisinna Hippa & Kurina, 2013

Studied material.

BRAZIL. 1 male, State of Roraima, Caracarai (Vila Caicubi, Trilhada do Bacaba), 00°58'36.5"S, 62°06'08.7"W, Malaise trap #2, 10.ix.2011, Biffi, G. & Prado, L.R. cols. (on slide, MZUSP)

Remarks.

Having been described from French Guyana (Hippa and Kurina 2013), the species has subsequently been recorded from Peru (Hippa et al. 2017). Without the Peruvian record, the species would represent a typical Guyana Shield distribution. However, its presence in Iquitos makes it probably another widespread species at least in north-west South America.
