Material examined. Stn. 14, 20.ii.2012, 10– 13 m, M242: small, fertile colonies on Thyroscyphus marginatus (Allman, 1877) .

Geographical distribution. Circumglobal (Calder 1991), though not penetrating in polar waters. The Caribbean records are summarized by Calder & Kirkendale (2005); to these should be added the present record from Martinique.
